The winner of the 2020 BAM Nuttall Partnership Award, which was announced at a virtual ceremony held in December 2020, was Greater Anglia for work undertaken on the station at Harlow.
On Monday 8 November the plaque that was awarded to Greater Anglia was officially unveiled by David Robinson, Project Manager for Greater Anglia, and John Curley, one of the National Railway Heritage Awards’ trustees.
The award recognised the work which had been carried out to replace the tired fascia panels around the roof lines of the station. This work was carried out by Greater Anglia with support funding from the Railway Heritage Trust. This station, along with Barking and Broxbourne, represent examples of Eastern Region stations which were regenerated in this area in the 1960s and represent ‘modern era listed buildings.
